distal & cutter used to cut metal strips or wire used in orthodontic work. Delicate cutter specially designed for the removal of soft stainless steel ligatures. The instrument cut wire close to the buccal tube and safety holds the distal end. The distal end cutter is capable of cutting arch wires up to 0.21” x 0.25” both intraoral and extra oral method. It is used exclusively for cutting the distal end of wire protruding out of the moral tubes. It had a safety mechanism to hold the cut arch wires so it does not fall into the patient’s mouth. TC instruments are designed to stay sharp for a significantly longer period of time than other standard instruments.
