tungsten carbide Mathieu-Ryder needle holder is a double spring, plier handle instrument with a locking ratchet. It used for suturing, commonly in plastic surgeries requiring very fin sutures. The Mathieu-Ryder has a different shaped, fine jaw, versus the regular Mathieu. These Mathieu-Ryder jaw tip profile is similar to the Langenbeck-Ryder. TC instruments are designed to stay sharp for a significantly longer period of time than other standard instruments. SMS permanently bonds tungsten carbide inserts to the instrument, which maximizes control and precision. TC instruments are identified by gold handles. the product is straight and double spring handle.
