Fig 67 Distal end cutter used to cuts the wire as close as possible to the buccal tube, holding securely the portion of wire cut. The distal end cutter is capable of cutting arch wires up to 0.21” x 0.25” both intraoral and extra oral method. It is used exclusively for cutting the distal end of wire protruding out of the moral tubes. It had a safety mechanism to hold the cut arch wires so it does not fall into the patient’s mouth. TC instruments are designed to stay sharp for a significantly longer period of time than other standard instruments.
